Dear MDSDF Square and Round Dancers,
We wish to inform you that the Delta Hunt Valley Marriott Hotel, our traditional venue, has unexpectedly closed its doors.
Rest assured, the 59th Star Spangled Banner Festival is still scheduled for July 18-20, 2024.
We are actively evaluating alternative venues and will share details as soon as they are finalized.

General Information

Plus DBD, Advanced, and Challenge will use computer numbers

The Round Dance program will include:

2x2’s in the Plus Hall in the evening

Continuous round dancing up to Phase VI

Teach sessions & workshops

Wood flooring in the main ballrooms

Dancing begins at 8PM Thursday Evening
-
Friday and Saturday from 10AM to 11PM
-
Appropriate casual attire acceptable until 7:00PM

Please no sweatpants or shorts

Square Dance and Round Dance or business casual attire is required for ALL evening activities

Bring your favorite name badge

Festival ribbons will be issued for dancing and must be worn throughout the festival

The MDSDF Board is aware of the closing of the Delta Hunt Valley Marriott Hotel.

Do not make hotel reservations at this time.

We are still planning to hold the 59th Star Spangled Banner Festival July 18 - 20, 2024.

Alternative locations are being evaluated and information will be provided as soon as it is available.

The full Festival costs

$70.00 per dancer or

$25 for youth 17 and under

Saturday only cost is $35.00 per dancer
Refunds

Refunds will be made thru June 26, 2024.

There is $5.00 cancellation/transfer fee per person.

Rollovers are good for one year.
